The College of Lake County (CLC) was founded in 1967 as part of the Illinois community college system. As a comprehensive community college, CLC is committed to equal high quality education, cultural enrichment and partnerships with the surrounding community.

The main campus is located in Grayslake, Illinois, about 34 miles north of Chicago. CLC also has satellite locations in Waukegan and Vernon Hills to serve students throughout the region.
